The March Love List
It seems impossible that today is the last day of March, but here we are.
It’s Easter morning, grey and stormy. I’m drinking coffee from my purple bunny mug and listing what I loved this month…
Tracy and I happened to catch River’s Edge one afternoon. It had been a while since I’d seen it. I’d forgotten how good it is.
We celebrated Tracy’s birthday (which is also our anniversary) this month, and my dad’s. 🎂
In garden news, we have new natives in the ground, a gift from our neighbor. I opened up the back door one morning and our garden was filled with eastern phoebes. The same day, I spotted two red-cockaded woodpeckers. We also have a red tail hawk couple nesting just beyond our garden and we see them soaring overhead everyday. We’ve been pulling up wild onions and we planted a witch hazel tree and a hellebore.

🎧 I heard this interview with RuPaul on Fresh Air and immediately downloaded The House of Hidden Meanings. So my fourth read of the year, was another memoir, and another good one.

If you celebrate Easter, I hope you awoke this morning to find a basket of delights at the foot of the bed. If not, then I hope you have a moment to sit quietly with a cup of tea and feel the spring sunlight on your skin. I hope you are well. If not, I hope you know you will be well again.
Tomorrow, it’s April.
I’ll see you there.
