The June Love List

Well it’s the end of another month and this is the LOVE LIST, where I share a bit of what I loved this June.

My brother’s band played a block party on our street this month. West Liberty Panthers rock!

Rocky turned 12. He wore a little hat and ate cake.

Tracy and I planted a bunch of herbs and flowers. We’re focused on putting native plants in the ground and tending to our little piece of land in a way that supports the birds and pollinators.

I am growing a sunflower. I am growing a sunflower. I got him in the ground late, but I believe in him, and I’m so happy he’s growing.

I also made a couple of water fountains for the birds and other animals who pass through, and I woke up one morning to discover California poppies blooming. #gardenmagic

We tended to my grandmother’s house this month in preparation for its sale and an Estate Sale. It was a much bigger job than we anticipated and we’re all pretty dang exhausted. I brought some key pieces home, though, and it’s good to have them here.

I had coffee with a friend on the back deck at Kenwick Table - it was so nice.

I got a new deck and I love it!

My Youtube channel is back in full swing. Here’s a recent Coffee Talk.

Back in the day, I used to answer questions in my videos. I’m bringing that day back. If you have a question you’d like for me to answer or a subject you’d like for me to talk about, please let me know.

Thank you for being here.

I’ll see you in July.
